Hand Therapy Awareness & Injury Prevention Week is sponsored by the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT). Founded in 1977, ASHT is an organization comprised of more than 3,000 hand therapy professionals dedicated to establishing ethical standards and promoting research in the hand therapy profession.

The importance of hand therapy in today’s healthcare environment cannot be overstated.
