Awareness week
Start early as it takes time to get things moving.
There are 4 steps to the process.
Therapists can hold different
contests to spread the Hand Therapy message of injury prevention
Therapists can hold art contests
by contacting local schools and colleges.
Prizes can be provided by the
chapter each year in a different area.
Contests can be held at local
schools or libraries
Library can sponsor the event
and also aid in promoting the message by posting the brochures.

every year in each state from different types of injuries, along with some

Patients guide to Hand Therapy
Once the contest is over, the art
pieces can be used as temporary pieces of art to be placed it in strategic
location throughout the city to promote the message. Contact the City to do
so. Provide safety tips along with the art pieces.

Thus contact City clerk about the
HTAIPW and get a resolution from City council to recognize the injuries in
UE and declare and recognize HTAIPW
ASHT-
Chapter to fund the project partially or completely
depending on the cost OR ask for donations from physicians and patients
alike either monitory or art supplies
